Raw Ration Medicines Miscellaneous Items District Jail Swabi Tender Notice

Electronic tenders are invited for the supply of raw ration, medicines and miscellaneous items for prisoners and detainees of District Jail Swabi for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of PKR 40,000,000 on a delivery basis to the jail gate. Only bidders registered with EPADS and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority are eligible to participate. Unregistered firms may obtain registration through the EPADS website before participating. Tender documents, lists of required items and supporting documents are available through the EPADS portal. Online bids shall be submitted through EPADS by 2026-07-20 at 11:00 AM and shall be opened online on the same day at 12:00 PM in the presence of the procurement committee and authorized bidder representatives. An original call deposit of PKR 800,000 in the name of Superintendent District Jail Swabi, together with the original bank verification certificate containing the issuing bank's contact details, shall be submitted before the closing time. Bidders shall be active on the Active Taxpayer List, provide certified bank statements, possess at least three years' experience in supplying raw ration to government institutions, and must not have been blacklisted or debarred by any Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government department. Bidders shall submit FBR registration, National Tax Number, all required registration certificates, the certificate required under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014 and audited financial statements for the previous three years. Delayed or substandard supplies or breach of contract shall result in procurement from the open market at the contractor's risk, recovery of additional costs, forfeiture of security and blacklisting. Contractors shall pay all applicable taxes including income tax, sales tax, professional tax and stamp duty. Supplies shall be delivered to the main gate and ration store during office hours. The call deposit shall remain retained until approval of the tender. The Deputy Inspector General Prisons Regional Office Mardan and the procurement committee reserve the right to reject any tender wholly or partially with reasons, and final approval shall be accorded by the Deputy Inspector General Prisons Regional Office Mardan.
