Description

Procurement for supply of FAQ wheat free from dust and foreign matter for Central Jail Bahawalpur on delivery at jail gate basis for the financial year 2026-27. The estimated quantity is 45,000 kilograms with an estimated cost of PKR 4,950,000 and bid security of PKR 99,000. The supply period is from 01-08-2026 to 15-09-2026. Procurement shall be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System using the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules. Only bidders registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System and PPRA including contractors, flour mills, firms, companies, wholesalers and suppliers may participate. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Technical bids will be opened on the same day. Original CDR in favour of the Superintendent Central Jail Bahawalpur must be submitted before the bid submission deadline, otherwise the bidder shall be technically disqualified. The successful bidder shall bear all laboratory testing charges and supply wheat conforming to Punjab food quality standards after inspection and satisfactory laboratory reports. Blacklisted firms are not eligible. Wheat shall be supplied in 50 kilogram plastic bags with net weight excluding bag weight and empty bags shall not be returned. Performance Guarantee equal to 20% of the contract value in the form of CDR is mandatory under Rule 56. Rates shall be inclusive of all applicable taxes, transportation, delivery, stamp duty and laboratory testing charges. Quantities may increase or decrease in accordance with PPRA Rules.
