Foam Mattresses Procurement Tender Notice
Description
Procurement of 70,000 ortho bi-fold rebounding foam mattresses with cotton covers conforming to the specified dimensions, foam density, weight and material requirements on F.O.R. Jail Gate basis. Procurement shall be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System using Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure with the least cost method. Manufacturers, general order suppliers and authorized dealers registered with relevant registration and tax authorities are eligible to participate. Electronic bids shall be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Original bid security in the form of CDR or Pay Order shall be submitted before the closing time together with scanned copies uploaded electronically. Bid security of Rs.7,649,600 equivalent to 2% of the estimated procurement value of Rs.382,480,000 is mandatory. Five samples shall be submitted along with laboratory testing requirements where applicable. Technical bids will be opened electronically at 11:30 a.m. on the opening date. Bid validity shall remain 120 days and successful bidders shall furnish a 5% performance guarantee before contract execution.
