Supply Wheat Faq Central Jail Faisalabad 2026 27 Tender Notice
Description
Central Jail Faisalabad invites e-bids through Punjab E-PADS for supply of whole wheat (FAQ), free from dust and external contaminants, on jail-gate delivery basis for the financial year 2026-27. The estimated required quantity is 50,000 kilograms, packed in 50-kilogram plastic bags, with the net weight excluding the weight of the bags. The procurement will be conducted through the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules. Only bidders registered on PPRA and Punjab E-PADS are eligible to participate. E-bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System by 05-09-2026 at 11:00 AM and Technical Bids will be opened online at 11:30 AM on the same day. Bidders are required to submit the original CDR in favour of the Superintendent, Central Jail Faisalabad and four sealed samples of the wheat according to the specifications before the closing date and time. Incomplete documentation may result in technical disqualification. Laboratory testing charges and other related expenses shall be borne by the bidder, and supplied wheat shall be subject to inspection by the departmental committee and satisfactory laboratory testing. Bidders blacklisted under the applicable PPRA rules or prohibited from participating in tendering processes are not eligible. The quoted rate must include all applicable taxes, transportation and delivery expenses up to the jail gate, stamp duty and laboratory testing expenses. The department has reserved the right to discontinue procurement if wheat supply becomes available from the Punjab Food Department under the existing government arrangement. The successful contractor will be required to furnish performance guarantee as prescribed under PPRA Rule 56.
