Description

Rehabilitation of the brick facing on the back side of Hostel-B building at Al-Jazari Water and Sanitation Academy, Township, Lahore. The estimated cost is PKR 942,123 and bid security is PKR 47,107, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. Eligible contractors, firms, manufacturers and service persons must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System, hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council licence in the relevant category and specialization code, and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and Punjab Revenue Authority with NTN and PNTN. Complete bids must be authenticated and submitted online as PDF files through the Punjab e-Procurement portal using the single-stage, single-envelope procedure. Digital bid security in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee from Bank of Punjab in favour of the academy is required. The original bid security instrument, original blacklisting affidavit on stamp paper of PKR 100, and other required letters and certificates must be submitted in a clearly marked envelope to the Senior Engineer or XEN before the electronic submission deadline. Corrupt, unreadable or virus-infected bids will be rejected. Conditional tenders will not be accepted. Tendered rates and amounts must be stated in figures and words, with the amount in words prevailing in case of discrepancy. Bidders must quote rates against every item in the DNIT or bill of quantities and cannot quote a percentage against the total estimated cost. Postal and telegraphic bids will not be accepted. The work must be completed within 10 days of award of contract. Bids will remain valid for 30 days after opening. The procuring authority may reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
