Construction Kacha Walkway Iqbal Abad Payalo Tender Notice

Description

Construction of a kacha walkway from Iqbal Abad to Payalo in Union Council Bariyar, District Kohistan Upper, based on MRS-2025 First Bi-Annual rates and non-MRS items where applicable. The estimated cost is PKR 4,930,000. Bidding is invited from government contractors through EPADS under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and enlisted with the Communication and Works Department under the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Centralized Enlistment Policy for the current financial year. The relevant PEC codes specified in the bidding documents must be held for the scheme, and PEC and KPRA registrations must be valid for the current financial year with active taxpayer status. Bidding documents must be downloaded from EPADS after publication of the notice, completed neatly and uploaded as clear scanned copies. Complete hard-copy bid documents, original bid security and detailed rate analysis where applicable must be delivered by courier to the Assistant Director Senior, Local Government and Rural Development Department, District Council Road, Komila, before closing. Rates may be quoted as a percentage above, below or at par with the engineer estimate. Bid security must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt in favour of the Assistant Director Senior. Bids up to 10% below the engineer estimate require 2% security; bids more than 10% and up to 20% below require additional security of 8% of the engineer estimate; bids more than 20% below require additional security equal to the difference between the submitted bid and engineer estimate, along with detailed rate analysis. Inadequate security, unconvincing rate analysis, false information or discrepancies between electronic and hard copies may result in rejection, forfeiture where applicable or blacklisting proceedings. Online clarification is available until 5:00 PM on 2026-10-23. Bids close at 11:00 AM on 2026-10-27 and open at 12:30 PM the same day. Bids remain valid for 90 days.
