Procurement Of Local Purchase Medicines For Hospital Tender Notice
Description
Procurement of medicines and drugs under the 15% local purchase allocation for financial year 2026–2027. Eligible suppliers, firms, manufacturers, importers and authorised distributors must be listed on the Federal Board of Revenue Active Taxpayer List and registered with the Sindh Revenue Board where applicable. Bidding will follow the single-stage two-envelope procedure under Rule 46(2) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010. Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available through the Sindh EPADS portal. Suppliers must register on the electronic procurement system and submit bids electronically; manual bids will not be accepted. The non-refundable bidding document fee is PKR 4,000, and bid security of PKR 639,924 must be provided through a pay order or demand draft in favour of the Medical Superintendent. The financial instrument must reach the procuring agency before tender opening, and required samples must be submitted two days before the electronic bid deadline. Bids will be opened at the Medical Superintendent’s office in the hospital’s second-floor new building in the presence of bidders or authorised representatives. If a public holiday or other adverse circumstance affects the scheduled proceedings, submission and opening will take place on the next working day at the same venue and time. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under the applicable Sindh procurement rules.
