Description

Auction of obsolete, unserviceable and surplus public assets belonging to the Gilgit-Baltistan Communication and Works Department B&R Division Ghanche. The assets comprise Lot 1: chain dozer weighing 12,000 kg with a reserve price of PKR 1,560,000 and 5% earnest money of PKR 78,000; Lot 2: air compressor weighing 1,800 kg with a reserve price of PKR 234,000 and earnest money of PKR 11,700; Lot 3: road roller weighing 12,000 kg with a reserve price of PKR 1,560,000 and earnest money of PKR 78,000; Lot 4: bitumen mixer weighing 1,800 kg with a reserve price of PKR 234,000 and earnest money of PKR 11,700; and Lot 5: furniture and crockery at the rest house, listed as a lump-sum lot with a reserve price of PKR 150,000 and earnest money of PKR 7,500. The auction will be conducted through open bids under applicable government rules. Any Pakistani citizen holding a valid, unexpired CNIC may participate, subject to eligibility requirements. Each bidder must attach a CNIC copy and an undertaking on PKR 100 stamp paper and produce the original CNIC when required and before asset delivery. Employees of the department, disposal committee members and their relatives, and persons or firms blacklisted or debarred by government agencies are ineligible. Assets will be sold on an as-is-where-is basis, and the department will not bear costs for defects, repairs, transportation, loading or unloading. Inspection is permitted at the designated C&WD workshop or rest house during office hours from 20 October to 6 November 2026 on working days. Auction documents will be issued against the prescribed lot-wise earnest money in the form of a CDR favouring the Executive Engineer B&R Division C&WD Ghanche and production of the original valid CNIC. Earnest money will be returned to unsuccessful bidders and adjusted against the successful bid price. It may be forfeited if the successful bidder withdraws, fails to pay or fails to remove the assets within the stipulated period. Bids below the reserve price will be rejected. The procurement concerns disposal of used construction machinery, road maintenance equipment, compressors, bitumen mixing equipment, furniture and crockery through public asset auction.
