Description

Repair of the District Council office building at Mandi Bahauddin under the Annual Development Program 2026-27. The estimated cost is PKR 2,500,000, with bid security of PKR 125,000, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost, in favour of District Council Mandi Bahauddin. Eligible contractors must be registered on EPADS and hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in the relevant category and codes for financial year 2026-27. The estimate is based on MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2026 and local market rates. Procurement will follow the single-stage, single-envelope procedure, and the selection method is least cost. Bidding documents and tenders must be uploaded through the Punjab e-Procurement System. The submission deadline is 6 November 2026 at 12:00 PM, and bids will be opened on the same day at 1:30 PM in the hall of District Council Mandi Bahauddin in the presence of contractors or their representatives. Conditional tenders will not be entertained. Contractors quoting rates more than 4.99% below the technical sanction estimated cost must deposit additional performance or quality assurance security equal to the difference between the estimated cost and the quoted bid amount, under the cited Finance Department letter dated 16 November 2022 and LG&CD Department letter dated 7 December 2022, within the stipulated period after acceptance. Failure to deposit the required security will result in forfeiture of deposited money without further notice. Forged documents or bid securities may lead to legal action under applicable laws and rules. The procurement is governed by the applicable Punjab PPRA Rules.
