Description

Rehabilitation of the metalled road from KLP Road to Mills and Basti Faqeeran, Basti Sipal Mor and Khumb Chachran to KLP Road, covering a remaining length of 4.34 kilometres. The estimated cost is Rs. 14.383 million and earnest money is Rs. 0.719 million. The completion period is four months. Eligible engineering firms and contractors must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council licence in the relevant category and codes for financial year 2026-2027 and be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be paid digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System linked with the Bank of Punjab in favour of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division, Rahim Yar Khan. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance guarantee equal to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter, exclusively through the prescribed digital payment system. The guarantee must remain valid for three months beyond the completion or extended completion period. Bidders must quote item rates and item totals, together with the grand total; percentage rates above or below the estimated or DNIT cost will not be accepted. Responsive bids will be retrieved and successful quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. False information or forged documents may result in disqualification and disciplinary proceedings. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject bids under the applicable rules. TST, DST and surfacing works must be executed mechanically, and claims for completed work must be submitted electronically for processing through the Digital Measurement Book.
