General Stores Drugs Medicines Procurement Tender Notice

Deputy Director Fisheries invites sealed bids from firms, companies, suppliers and sole distributors for procurement during financial year 2026-27 under the head of account Cost of Other Store and Purchase of Drug and Medicines. The procurement comprises two categories: Cost of Other Stores and Purchase of Drugs and Medicines. Detailed quantities, specifications and scope are provided in the Schedule of Requirements forming part of the bidding documents. Bidding documents can be obtained against a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 for each tender through Call Deposit or Pay Order in favour of Deputy Director Fisheries, Sindh Fisheries Aquaculture Research Institute (SFARI) Chilya Thatta. Bidders must possess valid Income Tax and General Sales Tax registration with the Federal Board of Revenue. A bid security equivalent to 5% of the total bid offered must be furnished through Call Deposit or Pay Order in favour of Deputy Director Fisheries, SFARI Chilya Thatta. The bidding procedure shall be Single Stage - One Envelope, requiring one envelope containing both technical and financial proposals. Supplies and consignments must be completed within the period specified in the Schedule of Requirements. Bidders must provide a letterhead clearly showing their address, telephone number and National Tax Number; letterheads lacking this information shall not be accepted. Supply orders shall be issued subject to the release of funds by the Finance Department. Each tender shall be treated as one complete unit and split tenders shall not be allowed. Quoted rates must include all applicable government taxes. Blacklisted or defaulting firms, contractors and companies are ineligible to participate. In case of a public holiday, bids shall be opened on the next working day.
