Rehabilitation And Improvement Of Urban Roads Tender Notice

Municipal Corporation Gujranwala invites electronic bids from contractors and firms registered on the Punjab e-procurement system, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) with NTN and PNTN, PPRA and Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for Maintenance and Repair (M&R) schemes for 2026-27. The procurement comprises three schemes: Rehabilitation and Improvement of Shamsi Underpass, Main People Colony Road, CPO Office Road, Pasrur Road, Kashmir Road and Church Road, with an estimated cost of Rs. 47,000,000 and bid security of Rs. 2,350,000 - Improvement of Road Structure Furniture including road and lane marking, kerb stone painting and installation of signboards at Kashmir Road, Main People Road, Model Town Road, Sialkot Road and Pasrur Road, with an estimated cost of Rs. 20,000,000 and bid security of Rs. 1,000,000 - Improvement and Illumination of Shahbaz Shareef Flyover, with an estimated cost of Rs. 19,900,000 and bid security of Rs. 995,000. All electronic bids must be accompanied by bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost, submitted digitally through the e-procurement system; physical bid security instruments are not acceptable. Complete and authenticated bids must be uploaded in PDF format through the Punjab e-procurement portal by 23 November 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. The Single Stage Single Envelope (SSSE) bidding procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 will be followed. Bidders or their representatives may attend the office of the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation Gujranwala, where bids will be downloaded in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Corrupt, unreadable or virus-infected electronic submissions will be rejected. Conditional tenders will not be accepted. Item rates and amounts must be quoted in both figures and words. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit performance security equivalent to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation Gujranwala, in the form of CDR or bank guarantee only. Bids will remain valid for 120 days. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids under Section 35 of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
