Description

Supply of medical equipment and accessories comprising two items for the Balochistan Institute Child Health Services Quetta. Procurement shall be conducted under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 through the Single Stage-Two Envelope Bidding Procedure. Only electronic bids shall be accepted through the Electronic Public Procurement System (EPPS), and physical bids are not required. All bidders must be registered on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA Government of Balochistan. Eligible bidders must demonstrate assignments of similar nature and complexity worth Rs. 13,000,000 during the previous three years, turnover of at least Rs. 13,000,000 in the three subsequent previous years, inclusion in the Active Taxpayer List, possession of a Sales Tax Certificate and registration with the Industry Department. Bidders must not be blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan, and joint ventures are not permissible. The tender fee is PKR 1,000 and bid security is 2% of the specified amount, payable through Deposit at Call from a scheduled bank in favor of the undersigned. Required bidding document fee and bid security must be submitted. Bidders must provide an attested affidavit on stamp paper of PKR 1,000 undertaking compliance with the 90-day bid validity period, delivery period, non-blacklisting, price reasonability, warranty period and all bidding terms and conditions. The additional undertaking requires the supplier to coordinate with the hospital and arrange delivery through its own vehicle, ensure hydraulic testing of all cylinders before filling, maintain medical standards for gas quality and quantity, properly label every supplied cylinder and provide gas supplies around the clock whenever required, including an emergency supply mechanism. Bids must be submitted electronically through the supplier dashboard by the specified deadline and will be opened on the same day through EPPS.
