Description

Procurement includes local purchase of medicines, surgical items, films for X-ray, MRI, CT Scan, mammography machines, laboratory items, and medicines and surgical items for the Prime Minister Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) for the financial year 2026-2027. Sealed bids shall be submitted and opened according to the prescribed schedule. Bid security in the form of CDR from a scheduled bank is mandatory. CDR amounts are Rs. 350,000 for local purchase of medicines, surgical items and diagnostic supplies, and Rs. 800,000 for medicines and surgical items under the Sehat Sahulat Program. Eligible bidders must be licensed and registered firms, distributors, dealers, manufacturers, pharmacies or service providers. Quotations must be submitted on the firm's original signed and stamped letterhead. Bidders shall submit an original affidavit confirming non-blacklisting and absence of litigation. Successful bidders shall furnish performance security equal to 10% of the annual estimated contract value after issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Tender documents are available upon submission of a written request with treasury challan of Rs. 12,000. The successful bidder shall establish and maintain a medicine dispensing facility within PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit or within 100 meters of the hospital within two days after contract award if such facility does not already exist.
