Local Purchase Medicines Surgical Disposable Items Tender Notice
Description
Framework contract for local purchase of medicines and surgical disposable items for eligible manufacturers, authorized sales and service dealers, chain pharmacies, distributors and medical stores in case of medicines. The procurement is conducted through open competitive bidding using single stage two envelope procedures under the applicable Punjab Procurement Rules. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost is required. The estimated cost is 4.5 million. Bidding documents are available against a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000 and bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Sealed bids are to be submitted and opened in the presence of bidders representatives. Applicable taxes will be deducted according to government rules and NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates are required.
