Framework contract for day-to-day purchase of PBM-funded national and multinational medicines, surgical and orthopaedic items for Financial Year 2026-27 at Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi. The estimated contract cost is Rs.20,000,000 and bid security is Rs.200,000 representing 1% of estimated cost. Separate bids will be given for the medicines specified in the bidding documents on the basis of discount rates from retail or market price. Bidding will be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding under the Single Stage-Two Envelope e-bidding procedure. Eligible bidders include medicines firms and pharmacies having a valid Pharmacy Retail Drug Sale License, registered on e-procurement, registered for Income Tax, Sales Tax and Professional Tax and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List. Bids must be submitted by 10 October 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid security in the form of CDR, Pay Order or Demand Draft from a scheduled bank must be valid for 120 days. Bidders are requested to provide best and final discounted prices for needy patients. Relevant terminology includes PBM-funded medicines, national medicines, multinational medicines, surgical items, orthopaedic items, pharmacy suppliers and pharmaceutical procurement. Pro Tip: Eligible pharmacies should verify their retail Drug Sale License and active tax registrations, calculate discounts against applicable retail or market prices and ensure the 1% bid security remains valid for the required 120-day period.
