Framework contract for PBM-funded purchase of national and multinational medicines, surgical items and orthopedic items for FY 2026-27. Electronic bids are invited from reputable medicine firms and pharmacies holding a valid Pharmacy Retail Drug Sale License, registered on e-Procurement, registered with Income Tax, Sales Tax and Professional Tax authorities and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List. Separate bids are to be submitted for the contract medicines on the basis of discount rates from retail or market prices. Bidding is through Open Competitive Bidding under the Single Stage-Two Envelope e-bidding procedure in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended in 2016. Bidding documents are available through the Punjab PPRA website and E-PADS. A Bid Security of 1% of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs.200,000, valid for 120 days, is required in the prescribed form from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Bidders are requested to provide their best and final discounted prices for needy patients and applicable taxes will be deducted according to government rules.
