Description

Construction works under District Council Chakwal for District Chakwal, Talagang and surrounding areas for the period from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026 under MRS 2nd Bi Annual 2026. The advertised schemes comprise construction of a retaining wall with allied works at Madrasa Saaibain, Old Mogla Road, near Masjid Hussain, Talagang, with estimated cost of PKR 4.999 million and bid security of PKR 249,950, TS No. 40/MO(I)/MC/GK dated 23-10-2026; and construction of street and drains from the house of Nisar to the house of Sadam Hussain, Mohallah Raj Nagri, Village Ratucha, Tehsil Choa Saiden Shah, District Chakwal, with estimated cost of PKR 0.80 million and bid security of PKR 40,000, TS No. 117/DO(I&S)/DC/CKL dated 22-10-2026. Bids are invited from eligible contractors registered on the e-Procurement System for financial year 2026-27. The procurement will follow the Single Stage-Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Separate bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available free of cost through Punjab e-Procurement System. Bids must be prepared according to the respective bidding documents and submitted electronically by 14 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid security in the prescribed amount must also be submitted electronically before the closing time, failing which the bid will be treated as non-responsive. Bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 PM at the District Council Chakwal office in the presence of participating bidders or their representatives. Where the lowest bidder quotes rates equal to or below 5% of the estimated cost, an additional performance security of 10% of the contract amount must be deposited electronically within 15 days of issuance of the letter of acceptance under Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017. The additional security will be refunded after issuance of the completion certificate by the Engineering Branch. Rates must be quoted item-wise and clearly. Incomplete, ambiguous, unreadable, corrupted, virus-infected, unsigned or unstamped bids will be rejected. The successful contractor must execute an agreement on government-prescribed stamp paper within seven days after issuance of the acceptance letter. Fake or forged documents may result in disqualification and blacklisting. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids under Rule 35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
