Construction Of Graveyard Boundary Wall Tender Notice

Description

Construction of boundary wall at Eid Gha Graveyard, Bhalwal Road, Shahpur Road, Bhera, under the approved Municipal Committee Bhera development scheme for Maintenance and Repair (M&R) for Financial Year 2026-27. The estimated cost is Rs.6,540,000 and bid security or earnest money is 5% amounting to Rs.327,000. Procurement shall be conducted on item-rate basis through EPADS under applicable PPRA Rules. Eligible participating firms and contractors must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council licence in the relevant category for Financial Year 2026-27 and must be registered on the electronic procurement system. Bidding documents can be downloaded from EPADS from the date of publication until the submission deadline. Bids must be submitted exclusively through EPADS, accompanied by electronically deposited earnest money in the form of CDR through the Punjab E-Procurement System from a scheduled bank in Punjab, in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Bhera. The CDR must be uploaded on EPADS. Contractors must quote rates item-wise in figures and words through the electronic procurement system; percentage rates will not be accepted. Incomplete, unsigned or unfilled bids shall be rejected. If the lowest quoted bid rate is equal to or less than 5% of the DNIT estimated cost, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security in accordance with applicable rules within 15 days of issuance of notice. Failure to deposit the required amount shall result in forfeiture of the 5% earnest money deposited with the Municipal Committee. All bids will be opened by the Tender Opening Committee in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives. The successful contractor must execute an agreement with the department on government-prescribed stamp paper within 15 days of issuance of the acceptance letter before issuance of the work order. Contractors issued work orders must conduct the required quality control tests at their own expense. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids under Chapter VI, Clause 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
