Description

Development scheme under the Annual Development Program 2026-27 for construction of street and drains, Nallah and Tuff Tile at village Warriat. The estimated cost is Rs.7,000,000 and earnest money or bid security is Rs.350,000, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. The estimate has been prepared on the basis of MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2026 and local market rates. Tenders are invited from contractors registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System and with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes for Financial Year 2026-27. Procurement shall follow the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure, with selection on the least-cost basis. Bidding documents must be uploaded on the electronic procurement dashboard by 21 November 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 PM in the Hall of District Council, Mandi Bahauddin, in the presence of contractors or their representatives. Bid security of 5% in favour of District Council MBDin must be uploaded in accordance with the electronic portal instructions. From 1 July 2026, procurement activities across Punjab are to be conducted exclusively through the Punjab E-Procurement System. Conditional tenders will not be entertained. Submission of forged documents or bid security may result in legal action under applicable laws and rules. Successful bidders quoting more than 4.99% below the technical sanction estimated cost must deposit additional performance security or quality assurance security equal to the difference between the estimated cost and quoted bid amount, in accordance with Finance Department Letter No. RO(Tech)FD.1-2/2017 dated 16 November 2022 and LG&CD Department Letter No. SO(Budget)(LG)1-37/2022-23(ADP) dated 7 December 2022, within the stipulated period after acceptance of the tender. Failure to deposit the required security will result in forfeiture of deposited money without further notice. Contractors must execute the works in accordance with PPRA Rules.
